Accessing the LIEbikes is straightforward and user-friendly: users can register with just a few simple steps, select their desired rental duration—from as short as 30 minutes to an annual subscription—and initiate rides by scanning a QR code. The entire process is designed to be efficient and accessible for both locals and visitors.

Since each ride is monitored through the app, prior registration is required. It's important to complete and confirm your registration beforehand; therefore, downloading the app and finishing the registration process in advance is recommended to ensure a seamless experience.

The typical procedure is as follows:

<li>Download the LIEbike app and complete the registration by providing your driver’s license, ID, or passport, along with a valid credit card. The LIEbike team will verify your information and send confirmation accordingly.</li>
<li>Use the app to locate a nearby LIEbike station.</li>
<li>Select an available e-bike and scan its QR code to unlock it.</li>
<li>Adjust the support mode on the display, choosing from levels 1 to 5 based on your preference.</li>
<li>Begin your ride.</li>
<li>When finished, park the e-bike at a designated LIEbike station. Ensure that the bike is securely returned and properly parked.</li>
<li>To conclude the ride, scan the QR code at the station to end your session.</li>
<li>Finally, manually lock the e-bike to ensure it is secured after use.</li></ol>
